The DCDS Module™ is designed to allow end-users to scan hard copy documents
from a scan enabled Xerox Document Centre to a document repository in DocuShare®.
This module enables the meta-data functionality of the Document Centre products

DS Retriever
DS Retriever™, developed in 2002, has the ability to archive DocuShare files to
a hard drive, based on search criteria leaving a "pointer" specifying the path
of the archive for quick reference. Store all metadata of documents in a
database for offline reference. Download and copy to a local hard drive.

EdgeAgent™ was designed by Integrated Digital Systems in 2000 as an

Edge 3.0 Bates
Edge 3.0 Bates Module expands the capabilities of current Edge 3.0
users by allowing them to assign a unique index key to a scanned image. The
Edge 3.0 Bates Module can also prefix the index with both the current time and
date that the document was scanned and stored. The module can perform this
function without making any permanent changes to the physical document being
scanned. The Bates sequence number can then be entered into a search parameter
in order to locate the document in an image database.

EdgeXP Active Disk
EdgeXP™ Active Disk™ is a self contained application which runs directly from a
portable storage device. Launch EdgeXP™ automatically by inserting a Zip® disk,
Iomega Mini USB, Iomega® HDD External Hard Drives or CyberKey. A simple,
one-time only installation of the Active Disk driver is all that is needed to

Fax & Retrieve
IDS Fax and Retrieve Service provides for a small monthly fee the ability to
fax a document from anywhere in the U.S. and retrieve it in Group IV Tiff
format or PDF digital format from a personal secure web based collection then
share the document with other users. Through the use of a fax coversheet
template provided as part of the service you can provide basic index data and
location to store the document at anytime.

KFDS Module
The IDS Kofax to Docushare 3.X Release Script 6.0 is a single COM
Server DLL that handles the setup of the release module and the export
of images and index data from a Kofax Ascent Capture® 6.x system
directly to a Xerox Docushare® 3.x Web-based Respository.
With our Kofax to Docushare 3.X release script, the Release module will
process batches based on the settings of the associated batch classes.
The Release module is responsible for releasing documents as well as
index data using the attributes defined during release setup. Document
Collections are automatically created, Documents are uploaded and the
meta-data appropriately assigned.
The Release module supports all Mutli-page TIFF and PDF options
available through the standard Kofax Ascent Product and also provides
for automated exception handling, logging, concurrent data release.
Technical Support
Clients can avoid problems that can occur as a result of hardware replacement /
failure and out of date software versions by having an Annual Solution Support
Agreement with IDS.
